- Set short term goals
- Make a plan
- Journal your progress
- Dispute negative thoughts
- Have "me time" every day
- Be organized
- Share your goals with someone important to you so that you are accountable
- Figure out what is fun for you and do it at least once a week
- Do some form of exercise every day
- S.........T.........R.........E.........T.........C.........H every day
- Eat right with plenty of colorful fruits and vegetables
- Watch your fat intake... especially saturated fat
- Hydrate with H2O as much as possible
- Find a physical activity that feels more like play than work and do it as much as possible
- Have a gratitude book where you write what you are grateful for on a daily basis
- Don’t compare yourself to others...... we are all special
- Challenge yourself physically and mentally
- Allow yourself to have your negative feelings… just don’t get stuck there
- Try to always do the right thing
- Take a deep breath before reacting
- 5 minutes of working out every day is better than no minutes
- Get a good night sleep every night
- Watch your alcohol intake (think moderation)
- Live in the moment
- Love as many living things as possible
- Take care of your health
- Watch out for fear... don’t let it get the best of you
- Be optimistic
- Perform acts of kindness without needing recognition
- Give without expecting someone to reciprocate
